FAQ
Common questions from OEM buyers, procurement managers, and engineers about our industrial wheels, castors, and custom components.
What is the minimum order quantity for industrial castor wheels?
Minimum order quantity depends on the product and whether it's a standard or custom-tooled item. Standard castor wheels and rollers generally have lower minimums than custom-moulded parts. Share your quantity and specification via our quote form and we'll confirm exact minimums for your requirement.
What is the typical lead time for a bulk order?
Lead time depends on whether you need standard stock items or custom-tooled components, and on order volume. Our team responds to every enquiry within one business day with a specific lead time for your order — request a quote and we'll confirm exact timelines.
What is the difference between polyurethane and nylon wheels?
Polyurethane (PU) wheels offer a softer tread, better shock absorption, and quieter operation — well suited to smooth flooring and applications sensitive to noise or vibration. Nylon wheels are harder, more chemically resistant, and generally handle higher temperatures, making them a better fit for rougher flooring and demanding industrial environments. Load capacity and floor type are usually the deciding factors — our team can help you choose based on your specific application.
Should I choose swivel or fixed castors?
Fixed castors roll in a straight line and are typically used on the rear of a cart or trolley for directional stability. Swivel castors rotate 360° and are used where maneuverability matters — usually on the front, or on all four corners for equipment that needs to move freely in any direction. Most trolleys and platform carts use a mix of both. Browse our full castor wheels range to compare options.
How do I know what load capacity I need?
Start with the total weight of the load, divided across the number of wheels or castors supporting it — then add a safety margin (commonly 20–30%) to account for uneven floors, impact loading, and wear over time. If you're replacing an existing wheel, matching or slightly exceeding its rated capacity is usually the safest starting point. Share your load, wheel count, and floor type with our team and we'll help you confirm the right size.
Can you manufacture custom wheels or castors to our specification?
Yes — we develop custom injection-moulded components and custom wheel/castor configurations for OEM partners, from initial specification through to production tooling. Request a quote with your drawing or requirement and our engineering team will review feasibility and timelines.
Which wheels are recommended for the glass industry?
Glass manufacturing lines need conveyor wheels and rollers that roll precisely true — any wobble or inconsistency risks scratching or cracking sheet glass in transit. See our Glass Industry page for the specific wheel types we supply for this application.
Do you provide technical datasheets or CAD files?
Product catalogues and technical documentation are available in our Downloads Centre. If you need a specific drawing format not listed there, let us know via your enquiry and we'll confirm availability.
Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
In most cases, yes. Mention that you'd like a sample when you submit your enquiry, along with your intended order volume, and our team will confirm sample availability and cost for your specific product.
What industries do you supply?
We supply OEM manufacturers, furniture manufacturers, material handling and warehousing operations, commercial kitchens, food processing facilities, hospitals, and the glass industry, among others. See the full list on our Industries Served page.
Do you export outside India?
Yes, we support export orders and can discuss documentation requirements for your destination country as part of the quoting process — mention that your order is for export when you submit your enquiry.
How do I request a quote?
Use the quote request form on our Contact page — include the product, quantity, and timeline, and attach a drawing if you have one. Our team responds within one business day. You can also reach us directly on WhatsApp for a quicker initial conversation.
